Problem Note 59318: The SAS® Forecast Studio environment drop-down list might display truncated values in the Projects window
In SAS Forecast Studio, you might need to access different projects that are located on separate environments. If two or more SAS Forecast Studio environment names differ only by a suffix, then your environment drop-down list in the Projects window might change. As you open and close the Projects window to switch between your projects and environments, the suffix might be incorrectly omitted. (The name that is displayed is truncated.)
To circumvent this issue, use one of the following workarounds:
- When you encounter truncated values in your environment drop-down list, close your current SAS Forecast Studio session and open a new one.
- When you create and configure your environments, avoid names that differ only by a suffix.
Examples:
Environment #1 | Environment #2 |
Default | Default2 |
FSEnv1 | FSEnv10 |
Test_a | Test_abc |
_123 | _123456 |
One environment is named "Default" and another environment is named "Default2." At the start of your SAS Forecast Studio session, the following environment drop-down list is displayed:
As you open and close the Projects window to switch between your projects and environments, a changed environment drop-down list is displayed:
